Elvis is a Junior Research Scholar at ILINA, where he focuses on legal approaches to AI safety evaluations and how to design law to support third party AI evaluation and verification ecosystems. He is also a Research Fellow at the Legal Safety Lab, where he examines existing and emerging EU legal frameworks to advance AI safety. He holds an undergraduate law degree (first class honors) from Kabarak University.
