Raqda is a Junior Research Scholar at ILINA and a Research Assistant at the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative. Her work addresses key legal and policy challenges posed by advanced AI systems, focusing specifically on issues of AI liability and the development of international governance frameworks. Her research aims to foster safety, accountability, and equitable global participation in AI regulation. In line with this, she has previously co-authored work highlighting why Global South countries should care about highly capable AI. She holds an undergraduate law degree from Strathmore University.
